Politics is stoo-pid. D-U-M.

I am so tired of everybody fighting on Facebook about which man has it tougher–the first African American president who has had to deal with an obstructionist, divisionist congress; racist bigots; birthers, who by rights should never had been birthed; and the tea party. YE GODS. Or Mitt CTR (ChoosenoToRespond) Romney, who has the whole Mormon, eternal polygamy, planet Kolob thing going against him.

It’s all so silly. Our country is about to implode, and the real division is coming from the factions on the fringes of BOTH parties. It’s not the normal people, although the normal people are going to get sucked in. Get ready. It’s going to happen.

People I used to consider reasonable are acting like raving lunatics, spreading lies about birth certificates, and Muslim heritage, and THAT SLUT WHO WANTS US TO PAY EVERYTIME SHE HAS SEX. I had one “friend” who even said she heard it herself. Poor thing had nowhere to go when I posted the transcript of what Sandra Fluke ACTUALLY sad, and proved she could not possibly have heard it. So now she only attacks me when there are three or four other friends attacking me at the same time. Safety in numbers, I guess.Plus, if she just says “Yeah, what she said,” the person shown to be an idiot will be someone else.

The lesson I would have HOPED she would have learned is that she is repeating LIES and MEDIA SPIN. In short, she is part of the problem, not the solution. She didn’t learn that. She just hides behind others now, and uses them as a shield when the shit flies.

So, do I think that all the media spin about Romney is true? Nope. I’m pretty sure that media is so biased that there is no level grand anymore. Do I think that media spin about Obama is true? Nope. But these people who are claiming that “media” is having an Obamagasm (that’s my term), and favors him at every turn, are conveniently dismissing the RIGHT WING MEDIA, who helps spread the lies and the rumors.

Is this a lie? Did Romney strap his dog on top of the car for a 600 mile drive, and calmly wash off the traumatized canine’s diarrhea and continue the trip? Yup. No lie. NO SPIN. HE told the story HIMSELF.
“Here’s a funny story….” Yeah.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer, when she asked him if he would do it again, he said no, “because of the controversy it caused.” Not because it was WRONG or inhumane.

DIANE SAWYER: As we move away from this primary campaign into the next phase — again, on Yahoo, we got two questions most often, first about Seamus — which as you know is out there forever — would you do it again?

MITT ROMNEY: Certainly not with the attention it’s received.

He doesn’t see that what he did was WRONG. He just knows other people did not find it as funny as he did. This is who you want for president?

There are many witnesses to the fact that he held down a screaming fighting fellow student and cut his hair. He was a mutant at the time (teenagers all are), but still…. He apologized for this by saying he didn’t remember the incident, but it sure wasn’t very nice. Four of the five students who witnessed the attack and allowed their names to be used stand behind the story. They remember. The only person who doesn’t seem to remember it IS MITT. How convenient.

He is falling into the political arena nicely, but I will not support a man who lies, whether through evasion or other tactics. He hasn’t owned up to any liability WHATSOEVER. He just says he doesn’t remember, or he wouldn’t do it again because it made people mad.

How is this media spin? How is this hype? Please, someone, show me where the hype is? I am asking legitimate questions that no one is answering.

And that, alone, should be enough to worry the hell out of everybody. Obama’s personal life has been dissected down to the fact he did some drugs when he was younger; at one point his marriage with Michelle was rocky; a huge amount of Americans still seem to believe he was born a Muslim in Kenya, and REFUSE to listen to reason.

So Mitt should not have to stand up to the same microscope? Hell yes. And evading or lying is not the way to do it.

Mitt Romney has a common Mormon problem. Don’t answer the question they asked, answer the question they SHOULD have asked. Again, HELL NO. Answer my damn question! Or get your ass out of this presidential race.

This is not spin. Please tell me how it’s spin. THESE ARE FACTS. And yet the same people keep saying the same thing, without ever really researching it, or putting it into perspective.

Look at the men. Look at the facts, and not the lies.

And then make a choice that is based on common sense, ethics and morals. Not a choice that you make, like Representative Mike Lee, R-Utah, did, where he voted against a supreme court judge nominee NOT because he disagreed with the man’s appointment, but SOLELY because Obama wanted to appoint him. And he admitted it.

How are you going to dispute THAT fact?
