I love Conference Weekends…

…So much to blog about.

For now, I’ll keep this brief.

Dear Boyd K. Packer,

You are a moron. You have no training, no education, no knowledge that GIVES YOU THE RIGHT to tell anyone that same-sex attraction can change. Should we forward all the suicide notes to your house? I think that would be appropriate. YOU can deal with the deaths you undoubtedly caused….

Sincerely, Natalie

And then there was THIS comment on my blog this morning.

From Allison:

I love how non-LDS members try to preach what trust LDS members believe. It’s funny and quite entertaining, but unless you are actually a practicing Mormon and non a FLDS or anything of the sort, your facts are flaud.

Dear Allison,

I am not a “Non-LDS member.” I don’t even think that is POSSIBLE, When you are a MEMBER, you are A MEMBER. There’s no special section in the church for NON-LDS Members. And anyone who can’t spell “flawed” should not be allowed to claim my facts are incorrect. YOU are wrong. And you need to use Spell Check.

Love, Natalie

  4. Milt says:

I read Packer’s talk and here is the offending part:

Some suppose that they were pre- set and cannot overcome what they feel are inborn tendencies toward the impure and unnatural,” President Packer said. “Not so. Why would our Heavenly Father do that do anyone? Remember He is our Father.”

“There are those today who not only tolerate but advocate voting to change laws that would legalize immorality, as if a vote would somehow alter the designs of God’s laws and nature,” he said. “To legalize that which is basically wrong or evil will not prevent the pain and penalties that will follow as surely as night follows day,” saying there are moral and physical laws that cannot be changed.

If there are natural laws, set by God, why are some people born with both male and female chromosomes? Why are some people born with both male and female genitals? There seems to be exceptions to every rule and law. Packer has made a cerebrial fool out of himself.

  5. Flaud. Bah-hahahahahahaha!

I think it is a brilliant idea to forward the suicide notes to BKP. And Monson – BRILLIANT!!!

    Flaud. Still laughing…

  6. Milt, excellent thoughts. Yes, he looks foolish to the world, as do the Mormons defending him.

  7. carl says:

I can hear Todd now. “But Jesus didn’t say being gay was OK – so it must be wrong.”

  8. carl says:

Also, Boyd Packer on the kids struck by lightning in southern Utah: “Well, they must have been having gay sex, and God struck them down.”

  9. Suzy says:

flaud… omg that is too funny. Maybe if I wasn’t gay I wouldn’t be so flaud… I hope BKP can sleep at night with all the blood on his hands!
