Justice…for a while

As I’m sure everyone knows, in a huge blow for the h8ters, California’s stupid Prop 8 was overturned.

I’m sure that the apostles of the Mormon Church are gathered together today in a lush conference room somewhere in the Joseph Smith Building, and discussing their NEXT game plan.

Despite the fact it should NOT be one, it is indeed a very religious issue.

Will be interesting to see what happens. But for now….

YAY! Love is love. And everyone deserves the right to marry.

The yahoo news article was good, but the comments were totally outragious!

  2. Cele says:

    You said it girlfriend.

  3. Todd says:

Sadly, the comments on those articles are almost always outrageous, but I for one am glad for the ruling and hope it will be the first step towards full equality. I printed out the full decision and will spend some time reading it as well. I am so excited, but know it will be hard to be around my family for a while as they will be arguing about “activist” judges and how this somehow will mean gays will be getting married in the temple.

As if I want to be married in the temple again…

If I get married it will be a joyous celebration and not the sad ceremony I had in the SD temple before.

    Our wedding was a blast!!!
Best of luck with your next one…wish you as much happiness as we have!

  5. Tracy says:

If you are into reading outrageous comments in which people show their true asshattery, read the online version of the newspaper here in Logan. hjnews.com. Amazing.

Congrats on the decision to you Todd.

  6. Mister Bob says:

Well, I am going to enjoy the fact that the Mormons here in Salt Lick City are going to have their magic panties in a bundle over this. I am also not going to enjoy the local effects of whatever their next attempt at world domination will be.

Only 3 more years until I can escape from here.
(This place makes North Dakota look cosmopolitan)

  7. Birdman says:

Mister Bob, take advantage of what is here, the great outdoors! Empty Stores on Sunday! A very active alibi small counter culture! The great outdoors!

  8. Jen says:

Mister Bob, I hate to tell you this, but I’ve lived in both and North Dakota has it all over Utah. I shit you not.
