You know you've made it…

…when you have your OWN personal topic on the Mormon Apologetics Board. And indeed, I do. I won’t say I am terribly popular there, but it’s been interesting.

Since I am a big advocate of ex-Mormons and believing Mormons finding common ground, I will regard it as a positive.

Many very nice Mormons, there, and even some that have been gracious and come around after initially accusing me of being a big fat ANTI-MORMON! Well, kinda….

Someone named Hammer wrote:”We will be judge out of the books. Both author and subjects. Wouldn’t want to be her when that happens.”

What? Is that Mormon code for you’re going to hell? (dunno)

I read the topic on the board you are talking about. I find it really sad that some of the LDS there are so mean and nasty, and at the same time they are upset about the attitude of the R.f.M board. Go Figure.
The LDS believe that they are the only ones who are right, and everyone else isn’t. I really hate what this church does to families and individuals who find the truth, and no longer believe in the church. It’s troubling for me to see and read the contempt and hostility the LDS have for someone who leaves the church simply because they found out it’s not what it’ cracked up to be.
I really hope and pray that we can find some kind of common ground between the ex-Mormons and the believing Mormons.

I also hope there can be common ground and live peacefully with the ex-Mormons.

Problem is that currently there is a lot of vitriol comming from ex-mormon internet sites, eg Samuel the Utahnite especially. Even Helen Whitney recognized this. I think that most of the nasty attitudes of some LDS is in response to these and others who aren’t simply saying “the church isn’t true” or “LDS not the only true religion” or similar but they are straight out enemies of the church as an organization and are constantly fighting a War against anything LDS. Church Security actually exists because of these people. But notice that the church doesn’t answer the wild acusations like for eg Hinkley being gay; but members do get offended by such wild and disrespectful acusations and try to hit back when they should ‘turn the other check’ -no punt intended!!!!

Liar, liar, pants on fire. Johnny is to be totally disregarded, and really, ignored, because he is far from truthful and playing some sort of silly game, that is, well, just silly. No real point to it.

But it involves lying about who he is, for reasons I don’t understand, and don’t really care. When he proclaims his innocence, exclamations and all, just know I have proof he is a flat out liar. And blow him off.

I have a off topic question.

From what I understand about the Mormon afterlife, which isn’t much, the woman cannot get into heaven, or the celestial kingdom without her man.

My question is, what happens to her if she dies first? Where does she go until her man gets there?

    Just wondering.

    What???? wtf?????

Fine, then. I thought you wanted to build bridges between mormons and ex-members (and I had some top letters to send to you) but I guess I was just wrong. An enemy of the church is always just that: an enemy.

And “Liar, liar, pants on fire”. wtf? how old are you????

    Bye for ever.
(And I won’t buy your second book after this!)

    Johnny,

wtf? How Mormon are you? Not very, I’d say. Whoever you are, I’m tired of playing. JoseRaul205@yahoo.com, vs. joseraul2005@yahoo.com, both with the same ISP, both playing games with people who have “Mormon related” web sites. It’s just stupid.

Talk about “how old are you?” I gave you the benefit of the doubt LAST time. This time, (and you KNOW what I mean) you fried yourself.

    G’day.

Nope. Again. NOT PLAYING ANYMORE. I have enough proof to show you are playing some sort of twisted game. Now GO AWAY. Be gone. Don’t pretend to be honest. You are lying.

*You signed on here FROM THE BEGINNING with the other email
*When I sent correspondence to THAT email, I received a letter saying the person did not know who I was.
*You claimed you typed in the wrong email, and quickly created yet another one, minus the extra 0.
*I gave you the benefit of the doubt.
*You proved to be a liar.
*Writing style the same. Problem with exclamation point-itis.

Two of you? Both from Australia? One number off in email address? ISP reguisters the same? BOTH Mormon? Both messing with people who have TIES to Mormonism?

    Yeah, wtf, Johnny. Jose. JOSEPH…..

AND ISP’S ACTAULLY MAY HAVE A MILLION USERS ON THE SAME SERVER ADDRESS SO YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT.

    Natalie,

You’re a very privileged exmo. I checked the link to MA&D and it works. They have banned links to every site run by exmos or antis. Mormon Discussions can’t access them, nor can RFM. They must like you.

    Hey Ray,

Well, maybe people are finally listening to me when I say I am NOT an anti-Mormon. I like Mormons. I find much of Mormon theology silly, but then, much of LIFE is silly, so what’s new?
