Let's Take a Time Out….

…and talk about something that really matters. Any minute now a drill trying to reach six trapped miners in the Crandall Canyon Mine, located in Huntington, Utah, is expected to reach the place where they are believed to be.

I suggest everyone pray, light candles, send good thoughts, do WHATEVER it is you do that these miners will be found alive, and sent home to their families.

There have thus far been no signs of life. We can only hope for a successful rescue.

UPDATE: Apparently, drilling has not gone as hoped, and the small drill is still quite a way from the destination they hoped to reach. I will update this when I hear more.

My 14 yo daughter has been following this story, hoping for a positive ending. We are keeping both the miners and their families in our prayers and thoughts.

How heartbreaking for the families that are left to wait and rely on human calculation as to when they will get near to where they think the miners are. My prayers to those who are trapped, may God be with them. My prayers to the families who are in pain suffering with each breath awaiting word, any word to come.
